Well, it's been a long time since you heard from me. It's because bears hibernate in the winter. But now it's springtime and I'm wide awake and ready for more fun with my mosaic tiles. I'm going to describe how to make a picture on the mosaic grid in a special secret code. Let's see whether you can make the picture on the mosaic grid.

(Notes to teachers and parents.)

Secret Code:

Put a large green square at 5D, 6D, 7D, 5E, 6E, and 7E.

Put a large red square at 5F, and 5G.

Divide a tile in half to make a red triangle in the lower right corner. Place at 4G, and 5H.

Divide a tile in half to make a green triangle in the lower right corner. Place at 8F.

Divide a tile in half to make a yellow triangle in the lower right corner. Place at 3F.

Place large red square with a small white circle in the center at 4F.

Divide a tile in half to make two vertical rectangles. The right rectangle is yellow. Place the tiles at 7B, 7C, and 6B.

That's it.

Mosaic Grid

Use this grid to make the mystery mosaic picture, if you don't have the MOSAIC MAGIC program. Print or download the grid.

Remember only use these shapes. You can turn them by 90 degrees.
These are the colors you have. Each tile can have a combination of two colors.
